Naples mob tale filmed on their mean streets
TORONTO—Italy’s counterpart of persecuted novelist Salman Rushdie is a journalist named Roberto Saviano who dared to tell the truth about a Naples crime tsunami that has turned the city into an armed camp. Saviano has been marked for death by the Naples Mafia, known as the Camorra, which took great offence to his book, Gomorra, which named names. Given the threats against Saviano’s life, it hardly made sense that anyone would want to adapt the book into a film. http://www.straight.com/article-210617/naples-mob-tale-filmed-their-mean-streets?

According to Dr. Finkelstein, the photo has not been enhanced in any way and is an original frame of a singular event.
"The photo has not been enhanced in any way and is an original frame of a singular event," Dr. Finkelstein said.
But Dr. Finkelstein could not contribute any evidence as to where the photo was taken, or in what time frame, except to say that from the clothing and hairstyles in the picture, it was probably sometime in the late '70s or early '80s.
"I'm going to say it was probably sometime in the late'70s or early '80s," Dr. Finkelstein said.

Judge’s fair-trial acid test
It was scary watching Charles Carneglia pour water into his glass yesterday in Brooklyn Federal Court. After all, he was the mob’s go-to guy whenever John Gotti or his capos wanted a body dissolved in acid. One informant says he even tossed finger bones in a Gambino soldier’s soup once to prove he’d done the job.

Italian police arrest first known transsexual mafia mobster
The macho image of the Italian mafia has been shaken by the arrest of a transsexual mobster who dresses as a woman, wears lipstick and insists on being called Kitty.
The cross-dressing criminal, whose real name is Ugo Gabriele, was arrested by armed police during a raid in the southern port city of Naples, home to the Camorra, one of Italy’s four mafia groups. Read more at http://www.mafia-news.com/.
